Fortune Biotech, formerly named Yutai Orient Feild Chemical Co., Ltd was founded in 1970 as Yutai Chemical Plant. It is China's pioneer in Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) production and a council member of the China Cellulose Industry Association. The company is located in Jining City, Shandong Province, with 160 employees, $20 million asset and an area of 18 acres. Now the capacity for CMC has reached 20, 000 tons per year. 40 years of practice and improvement enable our company to make CMC with higher purity (99.5%), higher viscosity (10000MPa. S above) and higher degree of substitution (greater than 1.2).

Production facility is fully operated under DCS automatic control system, which is also flexible to meet all the requirements in making different grades of CMC.
